Randy Evans is apparently the new Johnson girls basketball coach. Evans is the reigning Coach of the Year according to SA Express News.

Evans just led Brennan to an undefeated regular season in just the second year for the school.

PBR Events in SA

Premier Basketball Report has two events in May locally, The Battle of Puebla Classic and Mission City Memorial Classic. Besides the opportunity to get evalautions by the well respected PBR staff, the events offer the ooportunity to get an exclusive invite to a PBR Gannon Baker event in June.

WNBA Charger!

Congrats to Christine Flores for being drafted in the 3rd round of the WNBA draft. The former Churchill and TeamXpress star went to the Phoenix Mercury with the 30th overall pick.

To put this in to perspective, Flores is the equivalent to a 1st round pick in the NBA.

Freshman, Kyra Lambert(Sophia Young Elite) was a Top 5 player in the event and put on a show. Brooke Allemand(SA Finest) had the play of the tournament and brought her team back from a double digit deficit to almost pull a huge upset. Jaquan Jackson (Sophia Young Elite) is a And 1 Mix tape commercial every time she touches the ball. Avery Queen( SA Finest) exhibited increased range on her already lethal jumper and deft footwork.
